Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted water, stirring occasionally until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water for cooking, then drain the pasta. Set spaghetti aside.
Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Add seafood marinara mix until cooked. Transfer to a bowl once cooked.
In the same pan, heat oil, then add garlic and onion. Cook until onion is translucent.
Add wine into the onions and garlic. Simmer until the alcohol smell has evaporated.
Add marinara sauce, sugar, salt & pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer, tasting as you go.
Add cooked spaghetti, seafood mix and part of the reserved pasta cooking water into the sauce. Toss gently and cook until the sauce has thickened and coats the pasta.
