Where does my Manettas Seafood Market Seafood come from?

At Manettas Seafood Market we put you in direct contact with some of the greatest fishmongers in the nation to ensure you have the highest quality product available to be delivered to your door

Why should I order from Manettas Seafood Market?

Our goal was to give people the ability to have access to a wider range of seafood than they normally have ease of access to. We showcase a vast range of products that are not normally accessible easily- we wanted to open the doors of the seafood industry to Sydney first (and then to other capital cities in Australia).

What is the deadline for placing an order?

We want to make seafood as accessible as possible-

Monday to Saturday– order by midnight for next day delivery in selected delivery timeslot

Sunday– order by midnight on Friday for delivery on Sunday in selected time slot

 

Can I order in advance?

Yes- you can order up to 10 days in advance to prepare for your upcoming event or dinner party

What are the delivery times?

You can select your preferred day and time slot for your delivery

5pm til 9pm

Saturday and Sunday

9am til 1pm

Can I get a narrower window of delivery time?

For a small extra charge we can offer a two hour window of delivery in your preferred time slot

What if by chance a certain product isn’t available?

We don’t see this being a common event, however if it does occur, will call you and discuss- we do our very best to ensure we are able to offer all products, however, with seafood being such a dynamic industry if this does happen we will be in touch.

How do you set your pricing?

Our pricing is set every day based on fluctuations in the market. We have a dedicated team of professionals that set the pricing based on movements and seasonality of product within the market.

Why don’t you charge by the kilo for your fish?

We do to an extent. We want to be able to sell seafood in a user friendly way. Most people don’t know how much a whole salmon weighs for instance- we have taken the guess work out of it and strive to put prices with a minimum weight of a fish

For example- Your salmon price will be based on a price per kilo on a minimum weight listed, if the fish is larger you will NOT be charged any more and your price per kilo decreases.

Although your product is based on a per kilo basis, you will be paying for the minimum weight even if we send you larger fish.

Don’t you lose money by selling fish like this?

We have a team of experts putting together our pricing to ensure we can meet the requirements as close as possible- pricing of seafood is very dynamic and our team constantly keep themselves informed of what is happening within the market

How do I know when my order is on its way?

You will receive a text message when your delivery is on its way. This text message will include a link to track your Manettas Seafood Market truck in real time.

What if I am not home?

All Peter Manettas Seafood deliveries need to be signed for upon delivery. If you are not home we will call you to receive your instructions. We take the utmost care in ensuring your delivery arrives under temperature control- your delivery will be packed with ice to ensure optimum freshness.

If by chance you receive your order offsite- then we will require photo identification in order to ship out your seafood

Are your trucks refrigerated?

Yes- all our trucks are completely refrigerated- and your order will come under temperature control.

Do you re-collect the cooler bags or boxes my order is delivered in?

No. These are yours! Use them as an esky to take your beverages to a picnic or beach, or take them shopping with you for other groceries. We have chosen to use the reusable cooler bags, and specially coated boxes instead of Styrofoam- we all need to do our part for the environment.

If you would like to return your bags, however, you are more than welcome

My order has not arrived- what do I do?

Give us a call on 1300 095 746 or email us at [email protected] and we can track the truck to ensure it is on the way.

What is the delivery charge?

Sydney Wide Flat Rate of $8.50 (within 4 hour window) or $12.50 (within 2 hour window)

Central Coast $18.50 flat rate

 

What if I am not happy with the seafood you sent me?

Our drivers will take you through the product when they arrive. If you are unhappy with a specific product for quality reasons, we will return the product for a refund. We are committed to putting a 100% guarantee on all product we send out. Once the order is delivered and accepted it shows that you are happy with the quality.
