Juicy Australian prawns in a spicy, garlicky sauce, this Garlic & Chilli Prawn recipe is super quick to make but packs a serious flavour punch. Can also be used with crab if you desire. A delicious and flavoursome dish to serve up for your guests on the bbq. Add as much chilli as you can handle!
300g Large King Prawns Green, peeled, head removed and de-veined
3 segments of Garlic – finely chopped
2 Red Chilies sliced
1 bunch of Coriander, chopped
Salt and Pepper
On a BBQ – pre-heat the hotplate for a few minutes with the hood down.
Lightly oil the prawns and cook for 1-2 minutes on the hot plate on a high heat.
Throw the chilli, tomatoes, onion & garlic onto the hotplate with the prawns. Fry and mix together for a further 30 seconds.
Turn off the burner and add the butter. Toss through to melt
Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle over the coriander to serve.
