White Taramasalata is a traditional dip by the greeks. It has a base of fish roe (usually from mullet) which gives it the white to grey colour it holds. It has mild undertones of fish with a lemony finish to its flavours and is popular in greek cuisines. The best way to have Taramasalata is through a spread, served on top of a slice of toasted bread or with your favourite raw vegetables.
